Got down about 5:30 to see Squiz and Nick out, and Colesy blasting a Formula. Rigged 8.5m on my new 135 JP. A bit harder to get going in light winds, but easier to gybe in the surprising chop further out. Nice running in and out, though could maybe do with bit larger fin to point, or it could just be me sailing. Lovely and smooth near the spit. Sailed for 45 mins with average speed of13.3knots and sailed 10.2 miles. GPS went to sleep fopr a while and I guess I sailed a bit longer and further. Lovely evening sailing. Nick's boom broke. I went out to help; not sure I did more than moral support as he drifted quite quickly in
